Contract Due Diligence Process and Contingencies

The standard NC contract provides for a due diligence period during which all contingencies such as loan approval, inspection, and repair activities take place.  Normally there is a non refundable due diligence fee paid to the seller by the buyer.  The buyer must decide within the due diligence period whether he/she wishes to proceed to closing.  Because these contract provisions can be complicated and are always time sensitive, we will be there for you to handle the details, communication, and resolution.
